Surrogacy and Gestation Agreements
Often couples find that due to circumstances beyond their control they need to engage the help of a gestational carrier to aid the couple in becoming parents. Couples see gestational carriers (surrogates) for a variety of reasons and the resulting child can be made with genetic materials from each parent, one parent and an egg donor or sperm donor, or completely from an egg donor and a sperm donor. Regardless of the reasons behind needing a gestational carrier (surrogate), the intended parents will need a Gestational Agreement, and each party to that Gestational Agreement will need representation as well.
At Quaid & Quaid, LLC, we pride ourselves on having a network of like-minded professionals ready and able to provide representation to all the parties to a Gestational Agreement and to insure that the process of choosing a gestational carrier (surrogate), an egg donor or sperm donor, and completing the birth and adoption process go as smoothly as possible. We understand that we are not just helping our clients to complete all of the legal steps necessary, we are instrumental in building a family for our clients or in protecting the interests of the gestational carriers (surrogates) or egg donor sperm donors we represent. We understand the emotional implications for all of the parties to a Gestation Agreement and as such do our best to tailor our representation and our counsel to the specific emotional needs of the party we are representing.
